Bharat Kaushik Struggles for the Transgender Community.
Name is Bharat Kaushik. He was born in a middle class family in Patna district of Bihar state. Bharat completed his education from the Department of Sociology Social Work of Patna University. Looking at the family background, the attention of the entire family was more towards social work. It is never too late to help someone, to take someone to hospital, to help anyone in society. After completing his post-graduation, he started doing social work. A few days ago he started work on the Transgender community. When he met the people of the community, his eyes became moist after hearing their terrible pain, exploitation and struggle of life. These people are still not accepted in the society and are seen with a lowly vision. This incident shook his mind. Why is there so much discrimination against a human being in the human race itself? He says that they have taken a pledge that they will fight for the rights and equality of the transgender community. We have freed them from exploitation and brought them respect in society by continuously doing the work of bringing to the forefront the exploitation they face through movies, dramas and interactions. We started the Transgender Model Magazine which is an e-magazine and in that magazine we constantly publish about members of the community.
This community is the most exploited community in the world. Their exploitation starts from the family itself from the very beginning, even before the society. Discrimination with them is common. These people are forced to leave the house. The social system is very bad towards this community. Incidents like beatings and murders have become common with them. As he said, the Transgender community is still not respected by the society. Neither do they get a good house nor a good job.They are forced to do disgusting and ostracized work of society like begging in a train for their livelihood, which keeps both their safety and health at risk. Looking at all these things, Bihar's Gender Social Activist Bharat Kaushik has founded Transgender Model Magazine, which is an online e-magazine. People of transgender society from state, country and abroad are publishing their photographs in this magazine. Moreover, this magazine is also being appreciated internationally. Bharat Kaushik tells us that his aim is to provide dignified work to the transgender community in society and to give equal status. For the first time, the transgender model magazine has been launched by Bharat Kaushik to help the transgender community.
