What’s Not Okay?

ARUSHI KHARE

Mental health refers to the state of psychological well-being which is as normal and important as physical health but still being a stigma in our society mental illness has been proved way too much vicious. Every person is different and has different ways of taking it. You might be the one who is more emotionally vulnerable than others and there's nothing wrong or weird about it. People go through depression, anxiety, various disorders etc. and we as a society, instead of giving support, make things more difficult for them by hyping it up. Depression is an illness; bipolar is a disorder, yes panic attacks exist. It's not just a phase; it's not something that someone does deliberately. Nobody chose to be that way but if someone is, let's not make things choking for them. Every suicidal person is dramatic until suicide actually happens. This mental health awareness month, let's change this; let's create a healthy environment for the people around you. Let them be vulnerable, let them be what they are, lets them be calm on themselves.

So to all the emotionally vulnerable people I have some things to say,
It's okay to be that way, its okay to not feel 100% of you all the time, and it’s all okay. Everything will fall into place gradually. Just don't forget to be calm on yourself and love yourself the most.  Don't hesitate to seek help when you know that the type of emptiness you are feeling is not just a phase or sadness. Mental health has to be taken care of just like our physical health. Don't compare yourself with others. You are worth all the happiness; don't let your insecurities tell otherwise they are lying to you.
Having fever you visit a physician, so when having any kind of mental illness seek professional help and talk it out. It isn’t weird and in the end all will fall into place.
